#GivingTuesday Dec 1, 2020 Donation Campaign

GivingTuesday Dec 2020

GivingTuesday is a global generosity movement, unleashing the power of people and organizations to transform their communities and their world. GivingTuesday will kick off the generosity season this year by inspiring people to give back on December 1, 2020, and throughout the year.

GivingTuesday inspires people all around the world to embrace their power to drive progress around the causes they care about, not just on one day but throughout the year.” said Asha Curran, GivingTuesday’s CEO, and co-founder. “With country and community leaders, millions of organizations, and countless givers of all kinds, GivingTuesday is creating a shared space where we can see the radical implications of a more generous world.”

The Arts Consortium of Carver County, like most of our communities, has been heavily impacted by the pandemic. We are very proud to have been in a strong position when we headed into lockdown earlier this year and we are grateful to our artists, musicians, writers, members, volunteers and our arts advocates who support us. The ACCC has navigated this crisis by securing grant money, re-aligning our retail operations and, of course, the support we receive from our members and arts advocate donors like you.

During crises, the role arts play in our lives becomes immeasurable. The Board of Directors extends our thanks to you for supporting the arts in Carver County with us. Please consider donating on Dec 1st.

Unleash Generosity Dec 2020

Giving Tuesday Now Unity

Giving Tuesday Now – Donate on May 5th

Giving Tuesday Now

Hello,

On May 5, 2020, the Arts Consortium of Carver County is participating in #GivingTuesdayNow, a global day of unity and giving. As you know, our mission is to Strengthen our Community through the Arts and Cultivate the Arts through our Community. We do this throughout the year with multiple opportunities like classes, art festivals, events, music concerts, literary readings, photo and poetry contests, exhibitions and more.

In this unfamiliar time, there is a fundamental truth that gives us hope that together we can do extraordinary things. Over the past few weeks and months, we have witnessed the entire world coming together to stand up, help out, give back, and heal. Whether that’s through donations to community organizations, celebrating doctors and nurses at shift changes, or reaching out to a neighbor to help with groceries or needed supplies. Generosity has been a breath of fresh air as it has been a key element in helping the world get through this unprecedented time.

Taking into consideration of the current events, we cannot do this without you! Not only do we need your support, we need your help to spread the word. Please tell your friends and family why you believe in our work and encourage them to support us too!

Join the movement on May 5, 2020! Simply go to our DONATE page on our website to give safely online. You can find us here: https://artsofcarvercounty.org/donations-sponsorships/

We have other non-financial ways you can participate in the #GivingTuesdayNow movement as well, we invite you to check in with us and let us know how Art is enhancing your and your family’s life, you can find us here: https://artsofcarvercounty.org/participation-ideas-giving-tuesday/

Thank you for your generosity and for being a part of the Arts Consortium of Carver County family. We appreciate you and look forward to your responses.

Be healthy and stay safe.

No Retail Experience Necessary – Volunteer at the ACCC Arts Center 1-2 times a Month, or More!

The ACCC Arts Center is one of the ways we support local artists, by offering them a venue to sell their beautiful work. We rely 100% on Volunteers to run the Center. We are seeking Volunteers to fill shifts that are 2 or 3 hours on  Wednesdays – Saturdays. NO RETAIL EXPERIENCE NECESSARY, we will train you, it’s really quite simple to catch on and it’s so fun to talk with the customers as they browse the Center. If you are interested, please fill out the Volunteer Form.

We are also seeking a Volunteer with Quickbooks experience and we have openings on various committees. Indicate what you are interested in and your skills when you fill out the Volunteer Form, link above. Thanks!
