Call For Artists for Holiday Gift Show

We are excited to announce our first annual Holiday Gift Show at the Arts Center. With more visitors coming to the center every week, this show is a perfect opportunity to support a diverse collection of extremely talented local artists. We will have a wide selection of one-of-a-kind, hand-crafted gifts to purchase for friends and loved ones for the holidays. This is a free show and open to everyone. All contributing artists are encouraged to attend the Grand Opening.

Set up: Tuesday, Nov. 13 and Wednesday, Nov. 14
Time: Tuesday 5-7pm & Wednesday 12-7pm
Grand Opening: Thursday, Nov. 15 6:30-8:30pm

To be considered for the show, email 3 images representing work you are intending to sell, with medium and pricing details, with the subject HOLIDAY GIFT SHOW to programs@artsofcarvercounty.org. Artists will be confirmed, and next steps will be provided with instructions on how to submit your art for the Arts Center Holiday Gift Show. Membership is required to be in the show.

Submission Deadline
October 15, 2018
Email of acceptance: October 17, 2018

All work needs to be original and made by the artist.
No mass-produced items, or items made from kits.
Media considered includes paintings, drawings, photography, jewelry, glass, fiber, ceramics, sculpture, printmaking, wood and multi-media.
Two dimensional work should be framed, ready to hang or wrapped for display.
Limited wall space for large paintings.
Accepted Artists may need to bring a 6ft table to set up their own display.
A glass cabinet is provided for some fine jewelry.
If your work is accepted please have extra work ready, so we can restock if necessary.
The show will be extensively promoted through postcards, flyers, social media, ACCC newsletter, and local papers. Exhibiting artists will receive their own cards to hand out and an image provided to post on their own website and social media.
Keep in mind, best price point is $100 and less, items $100-$200 sell, but not as quickly.
